Electrical Engineering

The undergraduate program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering prepares students for direct entry into a career in engineering or further studies at the graduate level. The program is accredited by the Accreditation board for engineering and technology (ABET).

 

Our program's seeks to prepare our students not only for the rapidly evolving field of electrical and computer engineering, but also for a world that requires critical thinking and dedication to life-long learning. Many of our students enjoy successful careers as engineers and scientists; however, they also use their background in engineering to become lawyers, doctors, managers, and teachers. 

 

Computer Science

The undergraduate program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science prepares students for direct entry into a career in computer science or further studies at the graduate level.Our program is tailored to prepare the students professionally to face the challenges of the rapidly evolving area of computer science. In addition, they are also equipped enough so that they can contribute to and service the needs of the society that requires critical thinking and dedication to life-long learning.

 

Computer Science (minor program)

The minor in Computer Science is designed to prepare students in other majors for careers in a wide variety of fields which require computer science expertise.  Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Catholic University of America is pleased to offer a ‘minor in computer science’.  The minor in computer science allows you to enhance a career in engineering, business, art, music, mathematics or any other sciences.
