A Postdoctoral Associate position is available immediately in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at The Catholic University of America. The initial appointment is for one year, but is renewable for a second year. The ideal candidate must have received a Ph.D., with a research focus on numerical electromagnetics. Interest and knowledge of radar and imaging systems, antennae and rf structures and wave propagation are highly preferable. A strong command of written and spoken English is required. Duties include overseeing the progress of Ph.D. and M.S. degree candidates, collaborating with students, both at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as with faculty members in other related fields, leading efforts in writing proposals and journal papers and participating in national and international conferences.
